Bandera ISD is proud to announce that Mr. Robert LaLanne has been appointed to be the new Bandera Middle School Principal starting June 26, 2023.
Mr. LaLanne received his Bachelor's Degree from Texas State University, and his Master's Degree from Lamar University. Known to many as Bobby, he is a Bandera ISD product, having risen through the ranks as first a student (K-12), then a teacher and a coach, an assistant principal, and now on to campus principal. He is a champion for kids, and he has established great relationships with the middle school staff and the community.
Superintendent, Gary Bitzkie, has stated that he could not be more proud to see a BISD student rise to the accomplished levels as Bobby has. He states that Bobby has been a fundamental leader in the district, and on the middle school campus for years, and he feels confident in Bobby's leadership to continue to move the campus forward to even greater success.
Mr. LaLanne will take over for Mr. Patrick Sizemore who has been appointed to the position of principal at Bandera High School.
