The Bandera Middle School cross country teams competed in their 2nd Annual Antler River Run at Flat Rock Park in Kerrville. The Bulldogs lined up against some talented teams including Kerrville, Pieper Ranch, and Fredericksburg. The Bulldog athletes performed well. 8th grader Aubrie Moore placed 4th overall. Many set personal record times (Mattie Arriola, Maricel Casas, Blu Rollo, Lillian Cabrera, Brittany Rios, Caleb Guzman, Aubrie Moore, Briley Clark, Brooke Lee, and Jessa Haws), and all of the Bandera runners gave their best effort. The boys’ silver team placed 5th. The girls’ silver team placed 4th. The girls’ gold team placed 3rd. The Bulldogs return to Kerrville next week to run at Hal Peterson Middle School.
