I am pleased to announce that the Bandera Bulldog Band has advanced to Area! Our band received a 1st division rating from all 3 judges at our Region 29 Marching Band Contest at Fredericksburg High School Stadium this past Saturday. I am so proud of our students. They have been working extremely hard since July. Their hard work has paid off.
We perform at 12:45 pm at The Phield in Pflugerville, TX on Saturday. October 21, 2023 for the Area D competition. After we perform, we have to wait until 7:00 pm to see if we advance to the Finals. Twelve bands will be selected for the Finals. The Finals will begin at 8:30 pm. Six bands will be selected to move on to the State competition on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.- Mr. Joe Cortez
