7th Grade A Team
7th Grade A Team came out playing their best defensive game against a strong Devine team losing 18-27. Your Lady Bulldogs played hard for all four quarters. This week we worked on a new press and being able to keep control of the ball. With some last minute obstacles with an injured player, these girls were able to adapt quickly and I am so proud of their hard work. Brooke Montelongo led the team with 11 points and 6 blocks. Blu Rollo had 4 points and 2 steals and Gabrielle Colony contributed 2 points and 2 blocks.  Mackensie Clay and Gracen Spruell put a lot of pressure on their offense forcing several turnovers. Rehnahta Gomez racked up 4 assists. Aaliyah Khan and Sienna Collazo stepped in with 2 steals. Kassidy Sizemore led in rebounds with 4. These girls will have a well earned Thanksgiving break and will be back at it come Thursday, November 30th when we travel to Uvalde.

7th Grade B Team
7B Girls Basketball played against Devine Thursday night losing the game 28-11. The team fought hard all four quarters but faced tough competition. Although this wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, there was still some positive notes to take from it. Ryley Boyd scored 4 points in the fourth quarter, Cealy Billings recorded a steal and a block. Shae Spofford, Aubrey Freeman, Bentley O’Donnal, and Makayla Clay all recorded one block. The team looks forward to practice after the break and focus on defense to improve our game and play against Uvalde on the 30th.
