Bandera ISD will not have school on April 8th in observance of the solar eclipse, and all district facilities will be closed starting at the end of scheduled school activities Friday, April 5th through the start of school on Tuesday, April 9th. As scheduled, our schools will go back to normal operations on Tuesday April 9th including BISD bus service. If there are changes to our regular schedule, we will send out notification to our parents as well as update our district website and social media pages. THINGS TO KNOW
- All BISD sports fields will be closed.
- Alkek and Hill Country Elementary playgrounds will be closed
- Bandera Middle School Office/Gym parking lot is reserved for for a First Aid/ First Responder station for Bandera County
- Bandera High School entrances will be blocked off and the parking lots will be closed.
