Week at a Glance

Testing Week Begins!

TESTING TIPS

  • Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep. Most kids need about 8 hours of sleep a night. Getting enough sleep will help your child be rested and ready for the test.

  • It’s important that your child eats a good breakfast. Breakfast helps jumpstart the brain, improving energy and focus. Breakfast is served at school each day. Be sure to get them there early, so they can eat breakfast.

  • It is natural for students to get anxious about taking the STAAR test. It is important for them to know that all they need to do is their best and remember their strategies.
