Please see the attached letter from BMS Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I want to inform you about a situation that occurred at our school earlier today. A threatening letter was discovered. The letter was immediately confiscated by staff, and the student involved was promptly removed and investigated by law enforcement and district personnel.

After conducting a thorough search and interview, we determined that there was no immediate danger to students or staff. We will continue to work closely with law enforcement and district administration. Please rest assured that Bandera ISD addresses such incidents with the utmost seriousness and will enforce all applicable laws, including TPC 22.07 (Terroristic Threat), as well as the Bandera ISD Student Code of Conduct.

Safety is and will always remain our top priority. We are committed to maintaining a secure environment for your children, and we take any concerns about potential threats seriously. We also encourage parents and students to report any concerns they may have. If you or your child has any information or would like to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your continued trust and for supporting our efforts to maintain a safe learning environment for all.

Sincerely,

Bobby LaLanne

Principal
